[Want Fitness] | [AVI] | [FS-US] Leslie Sansone - You Can Do! Abs / Yoga / Pilates

Leslie Sansone - You Can Do! Abs / Yoga / Pilates

Description:
This series is the easiest method of learning yoga, pilates and ab work with the balance ball. I have thus far only done the Yoga and Pilates, but both are incredibly simple and surprisingly effective. A good way to add variety to your workouts, esp. if you're already doing alot of Leslie's other workout programs. I recommend this series and commend Leslie for doing a service to the fans who love her workouts-a little change here and there challenges the body and keeps the mind motivated and fresh.
1. Leslie Sansone - You Can Do! Abs:
Leslie teaches you the most effective ways to use your stability ball, plus three different workouts that will add variety and results. By using this video 2-3 times per week for four weeks, you can trim inches off your waistline, firm up your abdominal and back muscles, strengthen your arms, chest and shoulders, and get an effective head-to-toe strengthening workout.
This video has three progressive practice segments, each one designated to take you a step closer to greater results: Using Your Stability Ball, The Core Workout and The Upper-Body Workout.
An easy-to-follow introduction to stability ball exercises; it tones a lot more than just your abs. Leslie’s friendly one-on-one cuing and non-intimidating approach lets anyone enjoy the range-of-motion and body-position benefits of ball routines. It begins with a detailed instructional segment — you’ll have time to get comfortable with the ball and learn safe/effective form. That’s followed by an ab-focused workout designed to trim your waistline. The optional final segment incorporates dumbbells to sculpt your upper body and arms.
Includes more advanced alternatives. Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells and a stability ball.
2. Leslie Sansone - You Can Do! Yoga:
A “fitness style” intro to yoga. No breath control or mind/body elements, Leslie focuses on yoga’s physical positions and physical benefits (flexibility and strength). She begins with 15 minutes of pure instruction. You’ll learn the basic yoga poses like cobra, triangle and mountain. Leslie makes it easy with her detailed instruction and clear visual imagery (e.g. “imagine a string is pulling your head toward the ceiling”). That’s followed by a straight-forward yoga workout featuring flowing movements and lots of harder/easier options. One-on-one instruction. Foam yoga blocks are suggested.
3. Leslie Sansone - You Can Do! Pilates:
A straight-forward intro to Pilates, it includes both matwork and resistance band exercises. Leslie’s encouraging attitude and simplified approach makes Pilates do-able for everyone. She starts with a tutorial explaining everything from Pilates terminology to the correct technique for each movement. Next, the mat workout uses those techniques in a well-sequenced series of the most basic Pilates moves (e.g. “hundred,” “plank,” “leg circles”). Finally, the optional 10-minute floorwork band section adds a little intensity while working multiple muscle groups. Requires a resistance band.
